Honestly, these dudes must have so much money and so little to do.

Apparently it’s got something to do with them trying to find water on the moon or something; I dont really understand how smashing a missile into the surface of the moon is going to find any water, but I suppose thats why I’m not a scientist.

You’d think an organisation full of rocket scientists could find more constructive ways to amuse themselves, huh?

Maybe they’ve just had a rough few months, and felt like smashing something. Thats fair enough, I suppose. No-one really cares about NASA anymore, now that everyone has realised that holidays on Mars and flying cars aren’t gonna happen anytime soon.

I was watching The Jetsons the other day, man that show is funny. Even though its a cartoon, they still have canned laughter on the show. Aaah the 1970′s – such simpler times. The Flintstones is good also. I was watching it the other day, and somehow, Fred Flintstone ran out of petrol in his car. I’m not really sure how a lack of petrol would affect his car, seeing as it is a largely foot-powered vehicle, but it seemed to cause Fred some considerable automotive-related problems.

I succumbed and downloaded ETID’s album a fortnight ago, and its absolutely insane and I’m so happy that the internet allows me to do this; but I couldn’t let myself download Polar Bear Club, because I know it’s going to be incredible and I dont want to spoil it for myself.

Just wish they’d hurry up and get here, I’m not sure how much longer my willpower can hold out…

Of the thirty or so bands already announced, I’m keen enough to see at least 14 of the bands… I’m amazed by this, you’re not supposed to like half of the line-up at a festival. You’re supposed to like 4 or 5, then boo the other bands that you have to sit through to see the bands you like..

Not gonna lie though, I’m the most excited for the pop-punk. Four Year Strong are the most fun band on the planet, and if you say that you don’t like Paramore, I dont want to be friends with you.

Everyone needs to come mosh to Alexisonfire/Gallows/A Day To Remember/AFI, and sing-a-long at My Chem/Four Year Strong/All Time Low/PARAMORE – sounds like a perfect blend to me.

Sideshows for this are gonna be insane.

From what I gather, these are some mad hectic swimming suits that help you float better or something, theyre all streamlined and stuff, basically they help you go heaps faster. There’s been a million world records in the past week, Micheal Phelps is getting beaten in races, the world is going all topsy-turvy. And everyone in the whole friggin swimming fraternity (except the people actually wearing the suits) is bitching and moaning about how the suits are unfair.

Look, swimming isnt the only sport in the history of the world where technology has helped improve performance. No-one bitched when they started making lighter running shoes for sprinters, or stronger cricket bats for batsmen. Every single sport in the world has some form of equipment, and obviously the better your equipment, the better you’re going to perform. Swimming is one of few sports that actually hasnt changed much – technology-wise – in the past 30 years or so. Once they realised that board-shorts weigh you down, they moved to Speedos. Then to body-suits that cut down drag even more. These new suits are just BETTER.

Everyone is bitching that theyre unfair, because Micheal Phelps (who doesnt wear these special suits) is being beaten by random blokes from China who wear the suits. But that’d be the same as if people bitched that Lance Armstrong didnt win the Tour De France whilst he was riding a Penny Farthing, when the rest of the blokes had mad bikes.

I’m not real sure why swimming is making such a big deal out of it. Every sport in the world has been improved by technology. I’m sure world records in sprinting were lowered after they introduced better running spikes. Soccer players now are better than ever, because they have access to better training and better equipment.  

Suck it up, swimming.
